Our Founder, Ike Odoeme, has always lived by the statement and notion, “ I cannot be comfortable and my people are uncomfortable and impoverished”. This mindset founded The Ike Odoeme Foundation, a non-governmental organization that is rooted in supporting and helping those within Nigeria without the means and resources to grow and birth a better future.
The Ike Odoeme Foundation started informally from the founder and his family’s doorsteps. From helping neighbours who couldn’t afford dinner or calling the community to help repair an elderly couple’s roof to providing financial support to small business owners and building community amenities in Ihitte-Uboma community, Owerri-Imo State.
Over the years, The Ike Odoeme Foundation has grown from the dream of a young boy seeing a better future for his little village to a national team of humanitarian minds and hands. The foundation has supported and solely funded over 100 projects across Owerri-Imo State and other parts of Nigeria. From community infrastructure to victims of crisis and disasters, the foundation has proven to have an empathetic heart and wallet for the needy, unjust, and displaced.
The Ike Odoeme Foundation (TIOF) is dedicated to transforming lives and building resilient communities in Nigeria by providing quality education, improving healthcare access, supporting economic development, and fostering sustainable communities through empathetic, transparent, and inclusive approaches.
To create a sustainable, inclusive, and empowered society in Nigeria where every individual has access to education, healthcare, basic amenities and entrepreneurial opportunities for economic growth.
